Jesus claims the throne

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. -- Matthew 25:31

... but so will believers too will sit on God's throne:

And Jesus said to them, "Truly I say to you, that you who have followed me, in the New Beginning, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." -- Matthew 19:28-29 (ESV)

and

The one who conquers (or prevail), I (Jesus) will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I (Jesus) also conquered and sat down with my Father on His throne. -- Revelation 3:21 (ESV)

This is also echoed in Revelation 1:6 and believers are not considered gods.

Even the 24 elders have thrones, and they too are not considered gods ...

Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads. -- Revelation 4:4 (ESV)

However, these 24 elders, and potentially also the Lamb who was among the elders (Revelation 5:6) cast their crowns before God's throne:

And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who is seated on the throne, Who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who is seated on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power...” -- Revelation 4:9-11
