And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.’” -- Luke 4:8 (ESV); Matthew 4:9-10

And yet, Jesus said:

“If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.” -- John 12:26 (ESV)

And Paul wrote:

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. -- Colossians 3:23-24 (ESV)

Some would quote this to proof that Jesus is "the Lord your God", however this confusing translation was caused by bible translators who translated different Greek words with different meanings to the same English word "serve".
