Jesus can resurrect the dead

Therefore prophesy, and say to them, thus says the Lord GOD:

"Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the LORD; I have spoken, and I will do it", declares the LORD.

-- Ezekiel 37:12-14 (ESV)

and

If the Spirit of Him Who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He Who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you. -- Romans 8:11 (ESV)

A literal interpretation would mean that Paul stated that Jesus did not resurrect himself. God's Spirit does the resurrection.

However, Paul seems to contradict himself, when he wrote to Philippians:

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. -- Philippians 3:20-21 (ESV)

And, Paul contradicts himself, when he wrote in 1 Corinthians:

In fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. -- 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 (ESV)

Trinitarians would argue this proof that Jesus is God.

Philippians 3:20-21

However, in Philippians Paul was contrasting confidence in circumcision in the human body against confidence in Christ's crucifixion.

Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh. For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh — though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also... Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. -- Philippians 3:2-4,19 (ESV)

Paul likely meant by "lowly bodies", our earthly things like confidence in circumcision. Christ "transforms" this confidence our own human efforts or sinful bodies to a "glorious body" of Christ which are able to continue his work on earth.

1 Corinthians 15:22

... in Christ shall all be made alive. -- 1 Corinthians 15:22 (ESV)

The Greek word "en" is often incorrectly translated to the English word "in", in favour of proofing the divinity of Christ. Paul more likely meant:

In fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, so also with Christ shall all be made alive.

-- 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 (ESV)

Christ had died, so will we die. Christ has been resurrected, so will we be made alive again.
