History
Nicholas of Hereford, a close associate to John Wycliffe, and John Wycliffe himself completed the Early Version (EV) of Wycliffe Bible translation in 1382.
The Later Version (LV) was revised by John Purvey in 1388. The LV is more commonly used as it contains several corrections where Catholic interpretations were removed.
