Causes of Financial Poverty

Laziness

I once walked by the field and the vineyard of a lazy fool. Thorns and weeds were everywhere, and the stone wall had fallen down.

How long will you lie there doing nothing at all? When are you going to get up and stop sleeping?

When I saw this, it taught me a lesson: Sleep a little. Doze a little. Fold your hands and twiddle your thumbs. Suddenly, everything is gone, as though it had been taken by an armed robber.

You lazy people can learn by watching an anthill. Ants don’t have leaders, but they store up food during harvest season. -- Proverbs 6:6-10 & Proverbs 24:30-34

Disobedience
