There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. -- 1 Corinthians 12:4-5 (NKJV)

Office Gifts

He Himself gave

1. some to be apostles,
2. some prophets,
3. some evangelists,
4. and some pastors and
5. teachers,

for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ

As the above scripture states, "Offices" are given by Jesus for the equipping of the saints.

Manifestation Gifts

1. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit,
2. to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,
3. to another faith by the same Spirit,
4. to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,
5. to another the working of miracles,
6. to another prophecy,
7. to another discerning of spirits,
8. to another different kinds of tongues,
9. to another the interpretation of tongues.

Manifestation Gifts are given by the Holy Spirit for edification. These are gifts imparted and can be sought by any believer.

Redemptive Gifts

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them:

1. if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;
2. if service, in our serving;
3. the one who teaches, in his teaching;
4. the one who exhorts, in his exhortation;
5. the one who contributes, in generosity;
6. the one who leads, with zeal;
7. the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
